Arthur Loker

Arthur Charles Loker, 101, passed away on Friday, August 14, 2015, at Vestal Park Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center in Vestal, NY. He was born on December 10, 1913 in Walton, the son of George and Carrie (Dreher) Loker. He was married to the late Loretta Reynolds. Mr. Loker was a carpenter superintendant for Savin Bros. Construction out of CT. but working all over the U.S. In his workshop he was always building and giving things to people all over Hamden and Delancey. He is survived by a son Pete and his wife Verna Loker, Hamden: and grandchildren Nichole, Gary and Tim, and great grandchildren, Aubrey and Jake; and sons and daughters, Margot and Donald Goodrich, Franklin; Darryl and Janice Loker, Sidney Center and Cheryl and Keith Axtell, Masonville, NY. He was predeceased by his wife Loretta, daughters, Marilyn Day and Deborah Teehan; brothers, Vincent, Donald, Milton; and sisters, Elizabeth, Florence and Beatrice. Calling hours will take place on Saturday, August 22, 2015 from 6-9 p.m., at the MacArthur Funeral Home in Delhi, NY. Funeral Service will be at the convenience of the family.
