Barbara J. Davis

Barbara J. Davis of Roxbury, N.Y. died January 25, 2026 in her home, with her loving family, at her side.

She was born June 15, 1945, in Waterbury, Connecticut to Arthur L. and Elsie M. (Fisher) Ballou.

Barbara was a homemaker, loving wife, beloved mother and grandmother, a great friend, and much more.

She married John Franklin Davis on December 6, 1963 in Grand Gorge, New York.

Barbara was predeceased by her father: Arthur L. Ballou; her mother: Elsie M. Ballou-Lyon; husband: John Franklin Davis; and sisters: Mildred Hundertmark, Elsie Apjohn, and Beverly Grossmann.

Survivors include daughter: Veronica Richards and husband William of Ashland N.Y; son: Richard Franklin Davis and wife Tricia of Grand Gorge, N.Y.; four grandchildren: Steven Richards, Venessa Giagiakos and husband Andrew, Jacob Davis and wife Jessica, and Jared Davis; brother: Arthur Ballou Jr.; one great granddaughter: Aubrey Greco; and several nieces and nephews.

As per Barbara's wishes, there will be no calling hours or funeral service.
