Barbara Dzitko

Barbara Purchase Dzitko, a 39-year Delhi resident, died unexpectedly Friday, Dec 27, 2013, at her home. She was 62. "Bobbi" was born Oct 3, 1951, in Plainfield, NJ, the daughter of the late Thomas and Rose (Blake) Purchase, and spent her early life in New jersey, before moving to Delhi. A homemaker and care giver to her husband, Victor Dzitko, whom she married May 8, 1977, the couple also maintained a winter home in Bokeelia, Florida. Surviving are her husband, Victor Dzitko; sister, Joyce Rachel, Cape Coral, Fla; a niece, Jamie Healy; two nephews, Frank and Thomas Rachel. She was pre-deceased by a sister, Deanne Healy (2010). Friends and relatives are invited to call on the family from 5pm until 7pm on Saturday, May 31, 2014 at the Hall & Peet Funeral Home, 134 Main Street, Delhi, where a celebration of life will take follow at 7PM with the Rev. Bert More officiating. Memorial contributions to the American Lung Association, will be appreciated.
