Beverly Roberts

Beverly Roberts, 59, of Stamford, passed away on Saturday, July 12, 2025 at Delhi Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Delhi.

Born on January 22, 1966 in Stamford, she was the daughter of the late Clarence “Jim” and Harriett (Kelsey) Raeder.

Beverly worked for several local establishments, most recently she was a transport driver for RSS in Delhi, until her health forced her retirement.

She enjoyed crossword puzzles and enjoyed dancing, often going out to a square or line dance. Beverly loved the color purple which she often incorporated into her wardrobe. Her greatest joy was her family, she was a loving mother and proud grandmother, she loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Beverly is survived by her children: Sarah (Nick) Vandeusen of Unadilla, Alex Roberts of Hobart and Dustin Roberts of Stamford; grandchildren: Marissa, Aden, Blake and Brantley; brothers: Ronald (Karen) Raeder of Groton, Kenneth (Kelly) Raeder of Stamford and Dale (Lorae) Raeder, Sr. of Chenango Forks; along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Calling hours will be held from 11-1PM on Saturday, July 19, 2025 at the MacArthur Funeral Home, 15 Buntline Drive, Stamford, where a service will be held at 1PM, burial will follow at Locust Hill Cemetery, Hobart. The family would like to invite friends and relatives to a celebration of Beverly’s life at the Stamford Fire Hall following the cemetery services.
