Cathy M. Mallaber

Cathy M. Mallaber, 68, of Delhi passed away on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at her home surrounded by her family.

Born on February 4, 1957, in Oceanside, NY, Cathy was the daughter of the late William T. and Carol (Bogart) Ward, Jr.

She was married to her best friend, Mark Mallaber on August 26, 1978, a union of 46 years working together building their family and church. 

Cathy was a talented musician, playing piano by ear. She also enjoyed sewing and knitting, making clothes and gifts for family and friends. Her greatest joy was her family and church family. She was a Godly woman, Cathy was dedicated to her church, The Tabernacle of the Congregation. Cathy always put her family first and had a special place in her heart for her grandchildren.

Besides her parents, Cathy was predeceased by an infant brother: William T. Ward III.

Cathy is survived by her husband: Rev. Mark Mallaber of Delhi; children: Ivan (Jason) Piko of Albany, Joseph Mallaber of East Meredith and Ariel (Aaron) Wilson of Delhi; along with five grandchildren.

Private graveside services were held at Woodland Cemetery, Delhi, NY.
