Charles Collins

Charles L. Collins, 74, of Hobart, New York passed away on Friday, July, 8, 2011 at Bassett Healthcare, Cooperstown, New York. He was born June 30, 1937 in Hobart, New York the son of Louie and Genevieve (Roe) Collins. He married Joann Harpur, December 16, 1961. A lifelong Hobart resident Charles was a graduate of South Kortright Central School; Veteran of the United States Army from 1957 - 1960, and enjoyed employment as a truck driver. He is survived by his wife Joann, at home; a son, Charles (Tisa) Collins, Delhi, NY; four Daughters, Jackie Knovack, New Jersy, Tammy (Dean) MacIntyre, Stamford, NY, Tina Collins, Long Island, NY, Cheri Collins, Delhi, NY; 17 Grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren; two brothers, Harold (Carolyn) Collins, Hobart, NY, Danny (Diane) Collins, Enfield, CT, and a sister Elanor (Donald) Stuite, Cornwall, NY. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, July 13, 2011 at 11:00 am in the MacArthur Funeral Home, Hobart, NY with Howard Bindman, Elder officiating.
