Christopher W Oakley passed away on Wednesday January 12, 2022 after a brief Illness.

Chris was born July 29, 1970 in Oneonta NY. Chris is the son of Dennis and Tessa Oakley of Harpersfield, NY. Chris attended and graduated from Stamford Central School class of ‘88. He then attended Long Island University of Southampton, graduating in marine biology and computer science. Chris worked for Delaware County for the last 10 years as a computer programmer. He enjoyed wheeling with all his wheeling friends, reading and camping.

Chris was a dedicated and loving son, brother, uncle and friend to many. Chris is predeceased by his brother Ian M. Oakley. He is survived by his loving parents Dennis and Tessa Oakley, sister Deanna (William) O’Connor walton, NY. Sister Heather (Ryan Vollmar) Oakley, Bowling Green OH, brothers Anthony, Nigel and Clive Oakley, beloved Niece’s Alexis and Caragh O’Connor.

A Mass was held on Friday January 21, 2022 at 7pm at Sacred Heart Church, 27 Harper Street, Stamford. A graveside service will be held at 1PM on Saturday, April 23, 2022 at Valley View Cemetery, Roses Brook Road, South Kortright.
