Clifton "Cliff" Vanzandt

Clifton “Cliff” VanZandt, 65, of West Davenport, passed away suddenly on Thursday, March 31, 2022 at his home.

Born on November 15, 1956 in Stamford, he was the son of the late Ralph and Frances (Rathbone) VanZandt.

He worked in the construction industry his entire life, primarily as a skilled stone mason, for the last several years he worked with his son Andrew’s construction company.

If Cliff wasn’t working, you could often find him in the woods searching for wild ginseng, hunting, fishing or trapping.

He is survived by his son: Andrew (Katherine) VanZandt of Davenport; grandchildren: Jordan, Hailee and Natalie; brother: Ralph (Mabel) VanZandt; sister: Candy VanZandt; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A private celebration of life will be held.
