Connie Mascia

Connie Mascia, 83, of Boca Raton FL and Bloomville, NY, passed away on Wednesday, September 13, 2023 at Bassett Medical Center, Cooperstown.

Born on June 2, 1940 in New York City, NY, she was the daughter of the late Basil Naum and Olga (Pando) Sotiriou.

Connie worked as an office manager for Elite Ready Mix in the Bronx until her retirement.

She was proud of her Albanian heritage and had many hobbies and interests including taking cruises with family and friends, enjoying wildlife and bird watching, rooting for the NY Mets, reading novels, playing the slot machines with friends, and spending the winters in sunny Florida.

Connies greatest joy was her family, she was a proud grandmother and loved her grandchildren more than anything.

Besides her parents, Connie was predeceased by her siblings: Valentina, Bob, Jack and Georgie.

She is survived by her daughters: Christine (Teodor) Warycha of Bloomville and Doreen (Chester) Bartnikowski of Flushing; her grandchildren: Stephanie, Kayla, Jennifer, Ashley and Thomas; along with several nieces, nephews, cousins and numerous friends.

A Mass will be held at 1PM on Friday, September 22 at Sacred Heart Church, Stamford.
