Daryl D. Darran

Darryl D. Darran, 68, of East Meredith, formerly of Jefferson, passed away on Saturday, June 18, 2022, at Bassett Medical Center.

Born on March 11, 1954, in Rockville Centre, NY the son of the late Reginald and Dorothy Darran.

Darryl was a Well Driller working various companies including Titan and eventually owning and operating his own drilling company until his retirement.

In his free time, Darryl was a gifted mechanic and enjoyed working on cars and trucks. He was also a shooting enthusiast and like to target shoot.

Besides his parents, Darryl was predeceased by his siblings: Dale, Dennis, and Doreen.

He is survived a brother: Donald Darran; children: Carol Aldridge, Corey Darran, Taryn Clemmons, Brodie Darran and Darren Decker; along with several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A memorial service will be held at 6PM on Friday, July 8, 2022, at the MacArthur Funeral Home, 15 Buntline Drive, Stamford. A calling hour will be held one hour prior to the memorial from 5-6PM on Friday.
