David Orosz

David R. Orosz, Jr., 63, of Davenport, passed away at Bassett Medical Center in Cooperstown on Tuesday, June 14, 2016 following a long illness. Born on August 4, 1953 in Manhattan, he is the son of the late D. Rudy and Angela Orosz, Sr. David worked as an electrician for the IBEW Union, Local 3, Elevator Division in New York City. Following his retirement due to illness, he moved to Davenport area. David was an avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting and fishing and all that nature had to offer, he was a firearms enthusiast and was a member of the NRA. He also enjoyed cooking and often prepared great meals for family and friends. He is survived by one son: Jeremy R. Orosz of Davenport; and a sister Beverly Orosz of Yonkers, along with several friends. Besides his parents, David was predeceased by his daughter: Angela Dawn Orosz on May 9, 2004. Friends and relatives are invited to call on the family from Noon-2PM on Saturday, June 18, 2016 at MacArthur Funeral Home, 40 Cornell Ave. Hobart.
