Deborah "Debbie" Vradenburgh

Deborah A. Vradenburgh, 73, of DeLancey, passed away suddenly at home on Thursday, January 20, 2022 and went to be with the Lord.

Born on March 27, 1948, in Newburgh, NY; she was the daughter of the late James and Hilda McDermott Dickson. She was married to Thomas H. Vradenburgh on November 17, 1990, who survives her at home.

Debbie was a talented hairstylist and beautician, working for JC Penny Salon in Newburgh along with various other salons. Debbie even had her own salon for several years. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, and birds. Debbie loved fashion and was always dressed to impress. She volunteered and enjoyed helping with her church family at Abundant Life Church and at the former Powerhouse Club. She had a special heart for always helping those in need. Debbie’s greatest passion was her family, she was a devoted wife, loving mother, and proud grandmother.

Aside from her husband of 31 years, Debbie was survived by her daughter Dawn (Kyle) Hogan; and her grandchildren: Alexander Hilgers, Olivea Hilgers, Audrie Hilgers, Owyn Hogan and Azekiel Hogan. Her step-daughters: Jill Oberpriller and Amy Vradenburgh and her step-grandchildren Michael Acampora, Jeromy Oberpriller, Michael Gida, Katie Lynn Gida and John Gida. Debbie is also survived by her niece Sharon Sherwood and her nephew David Rizzo.

Debbie was predeceased by her granddaughter Madison Kaydence Hilgers, her sister Dorothy Rizzo, and her nephew James Rizzo.

A celebration of Debbie’s life will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 29, 2022 at the Abundant Life Church, 79 Assembly Lane, Delhi, NY.
