Debra Coe

Debra J. Coe, 66, of Oneonta, passed away peacefully on Monday morning, August 11, 2025, surrounded by her family.

Born on July 1, 1959, in Stamford, NY, Debra was the daughter of the late Harry and Marjorie (Kirk) Hamm.

She worked as a housekeeper for many years at A.O. Fox Memorial Hospital in Oneonta.

Debra was married to Vernon Coe who passed away in 1985.

She enjoyed crafting, baking and traveling, but Debra’s greatest passion was her family; she especially loved her children, grandchildren, and great-grandson.

Besides her parents and husband, Debra was predeceased by her sisters Sharon Toften Parker and Marjorie Sabia Granger.

She is survived by her children: Jennifer (Adam) Landau of Oneonta and Jason Coe of Troy, NY; grandchildren: Olivia Landau of Pomona, NY, Alexandria Fisher of Michigan, Dustin Coe of Oneonta and Cody Button of Oneonta; great-grandchild: Amari Cruz; her partner of 26 years: Michael Grimes of Oneonta; nephew: Jeremy Austin; along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Debra’s family would like to express their gratitude to nurses and staff of Helios Care along with her cousins Linda and Michael Greer and Schyler Grabo for the gentle and compassionate care of Debra over the last year.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers Debra and family would request donations in her memory to your local Hospice.
