Donald A. Wayman

Donald A. Wayman, 47, of Stamford, passed away suddenly at home on Sunday evening, March 22, 2026.

Born on May 10, 1978, in Stamford, NY, Donald was the son of the late Richard (Marie) Wayman and Norma Wayman.

Donald recently worked at Top’s Grocery Store in Stamford.

He enjoyed learning to cook and spending time doing crafts with his sister Ellie. Donald has a big heart; he loved spending time with people and animals, especially his cat Bootsy.

Donald is survived by his siblings: Ellie (Steve) Curless of Stamford, Shelley (Phillip) Adams of Oneonta and Michael Fitch of Oneonta; along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A graveside service will be held at 1:30PM on Monday, April 6, 2026 at Stamford Cemetery, Stamford, NY, followed by a celebration of Donald’s life at The Upper Room Christian Church, 83 North Kortright Church Road, Davenport, NY 13750
