Elaine R. Doenges

Elaine R. Doenges, 70, of Delhi, NY, passed away at home surrounded by her family late Tuesday evening, September 8, 2026 following a courageous battle with cancer.

Born on December 14, 1955 in Sidney, NY, Elaine was the daughter of the late Donald and Ruth (Boyd) Underwood.

She was married to Stephen Q. Doenges. Elaine worked for several years as a private duty home health aide.

Elaine is survived by her husband: Stephen Doenges of Delhi; and her children: Rebecca (Mathew) Hofsdal of Virgina and Christopher Merwin of Walton, NY.

A private service will be held, and burial will be in Woodland Cemetery, Delhi.
