Emmett Martin

Bloomville Emmett Charles Martin, 76 formerly of the Town of Kortright, NY, more recently residing at the Schoharie Adult Home in Worcester, NY passed away Thursday, August 2, 2012 at AO Fox Memorial Hospital Nursing Home, Oneonta, NY. He was born October 25, 1935 the son of Charles C. and Lottie J. (Burdick) Martin. He was Honorably Discharged from the United States Army. He was employed as a truck driver. Emmett was predeceased by a daughter Terri (Martin) Williamson and two brothers John and Lloyd (Pete) Martin. A special friend, Lorraine Funk survives; as well as three sisters, Nancy Turk, Karen Davis and Mary Martin all of East Meredith and two brothers, Kenneth Martin, Gansevoort, NY and Steven Martin, Davenport, NY and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Graveside Services will take place at Riverside Cemetery, Bloomville, NY Friday, August 10, 2012 at 1:00pm with Rev. Bert More Officiating.
