Frances Lowry

Frances Louise Lowry, 78, passed away on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at Robinson Terrace Nursing Home in Stamford. Born on November 18, 1939 in Little Falls, Frances was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Mary (Miller) Barrett. She worked for several years in the housekeeping and laundry department of the former Otsego Manor Nursing Home in Cooperstown. Frances enjoyed crafts, quilting and playing bingo. However her greatest joy was her family, she was a devoted mother, proud grandmother and loving great-grandmother, Frances had a special connection with her grandchildren. Besides her parents, Frances was predeceased by a son: Tommy Lowry in 2016; and two brothers: David and Gordon. She is survived by her children: Mary (Bubba) Morgan of Butler, GA, Skip Lowry of Utica and Patricia Russo of Hobart; grandchildren: Lacinda, Amber, Mika, Willard, Leandra, Freddy, Chris and Thomas; great-grandchildren: Royal, RJ and Brantley; siblings: Caroline, Beatrice, Kenny and Garry; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. A celebration of life and time of sharing will be held from 12-3PM on Thursday, March 29, 2018 at the Richfield Veterans Club, 13 Lake Street, Richfield Springs 13439. Please bring a dish to pass.
