Gary T. Zwick

Gary Thomas Zwick of Andes, New York passed away peacefully in his home with his faithful dog Merlin by his side.

Born in NYC to Frank and Josephine Zwick, he grew up in Waldwick N.J. and attended the public school system. He was a mechanic at R & J Transmissions then upon moving to Andes worked at Delaware Academy in Delhi where he was loved and admired. After retiring from the school, he was employed with ARC of Delaware County where he aided the handicapped.

Gary was conscientious, hardworking and well liked.

He enjoyed tinkering on cars, listening to music, metal-detecting on the beach, flying his drones, riding his Harley, boating on Lake Champlain with friends and most of all chumming around with Merlin.

Gary is survived by his brother Gerry and his wife Kate and their children Adam and Alison and her husband Mike and three sons; brother Phil and his wife Sarah and son Corey and five cousins.

There will be a brief Memorial service and short celebration of life on Saturday April 22nd at 1:00 at the Andes Presbyterian Church.
