Genevieve Gonzalez

Genevieve Gonzalez, 98, passed away on Sunday, September 15, 2019 at Robinson Terrance Nursing Home in Stamford. Born on April 11, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Juan and Justina (Delgado) Aponte. She was predeceased by her husband Frank and her son Frank Jr. Genevieve is survived by three children: Marcella Gonzalez (Kevin Wilson) of Hobart, Gilda (Joe) Klug of West Kill, NY and Theodore (Lillian) Gonzalez of Saylorsburg, PA; six grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends and relatives are invited to call on the family from 4-7PM on Monday September 23, 2019 at the MacArthur Funeral Home, 15 Buntline Drive, Stamford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30AM on Tuesday at Sacred Heart Church, Stamford with the Rev. Edward Golding, celebrant. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery.
