Gordon K. "Gordy" Key

Gordon K. “Gordy” Key, 69, of Hobart, passed away at his home on Friday morning, December 5, 2025 following a battle with cancer.

Born on January 11, 1956 in Rome, NY, Gordy was the son of the late Charles T. and Shirley Key, Sr.

He was a career truck driver, retiring in 2021 from Gerster’s Trucking in Davenport, NY.

Gordy had a passion for Harley Davidson Motorcycles and classic/vintage cars. He enjoyed riding, working on and showing them.

Besides his parents, Gordy was predeceased by his brother: Charles “Chuck” Key Jr.

He is survived by his wife: Carol A. (Clark) Key; one son: Jeremy (Moises Salome) Key; sister: Debbie (Stan) Merwin of Florida; brother: Scott Key of California; along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends and family are invited to call from 4-7PM on Thursday, December 11, 2025 at the MacArthur Funeral Home, 15 Buntline Drive, Stamford, NY. Graveside services and burial will be at Locust Hill Cemetery, Hobart, in the spring.
