Gordon Rider, Jr.

Gordon A. Rider, Jr., of Delhi, passed away early Thursday morning, May 30, 2019 at Albany Medical Center. Born on April 21, 1964 in Delhi, He was the son of Gordon Rider, Sr. and Joyce (Ashley) Dent. Gordon was a graduate of Delaware Academy and was a stone mason and carpenter around the Delhi area. He was an avid outdoorsman, Gordy enjoyed hunting, in his earlier years he also liked to snowmobile. His real passion was for fishing. Gordon is survived by his parents: Gordon Rider, Sr. and Joyce A. Dent; one brother: Tracy “Skidder” Rider; a niece: Carrie Berghammer; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends. At Gordon’s request there will be no calling hours, a private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.
