Harvey Osborn

Harvey W. Osborn, 91, went to his eternal life on March 24, 2016 at his home in Hamden surrounded by his loving family. Born on December 18, 1924 in Jewett, he was the son of the late Burdette and E. Violet (Watson) Osborn. Harvey spent his working years serving the farmers of Delaware County through FLF, Agway and McDowell & Walker. In his retirement he loved to split wood with his girls and their families, helping his son-in-law make maple syrup, hunting and picking blackberries. Harvey is survived by his wife of 70 years, Pauline C. Osborn; 4 daughters: Florence (Carl) Brown, Evelyn (Jim) Jacksto, Karen (Ed) Osborn Gallagher and Darlene (Mike) Dutko; one brother: Raymond (Bette) Osborn, 17 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. A celebration of life will be held at 2PM on Saturday, April 16, 2016 at the Untied Ministry of Delhi, Church Street, Delhi with the Rev. Dr. Duane Buddle celebrant.
