Holly Bator Dziewit

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Holly Bator Dziewit.

Holly passed away peacefully on October 12th, 2026 surrounded by family after a long courageous fight with cancer.

She was born on August 28th in New Haven, CT and was predeceased by her mother, Barbara Coe Czarniak and brother, Scott Bator. She is survived by her loving husband: Ted Dziewit; sister: Elizabeth Czarniak; brother: Stan Czarniak; nieces: Tara Flikkema and Ashley Boutens and their children.

Holly was an Accountant and Real Estate software consultant for major Real Estate Developers in Connecticut. She often traveled nationwide to teach clients and businesses about the use of the new HUD computer programs for property management.

Holly eventually left the busy corporate life to return to Stamford, NY, where she bought her home and met her husband, Ted. They were married for 28 years.

Holly was an avid outdoor girl who loved skiing, biking, gardening and hiking with her rescued dogs and mostly, lounging by her pond. Her and her husband traveled extensively to many overseas countries exploring and hiking. She loved winters and cross country skiing with her dogs.

She eventually started her own specialty organic body product company, Northern Catskills Essentials, where she sold to many local businesses and shipped nationwide. She was especially proud of this venture and how it grew.

One of her passions was animal rescue, she would help any animal and raised a wild bird Sid who was her companion for a long time. She worked with her sister, Elizabeth for many years assisting rescues in pulling dogs from high kill shelters in the south and getting them up north to new homes.

A celebration of Holly’s life will be held from 5PM-7PM on Thursday October 22, 2026 at the MacArthur Funeral Home, 15 Buntline Drive, Stamford, NY 12167.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart Of The Catskills Humane Society in Delhi NY https://www.heartofthecatskills.org/ which she supported for many years and donated her products to their fundraising events.
