Howard J. Vogel

Howard James Vogel, 58, passed away at AO Fox Hospital on Sunday evening, May 3, 2020. Born on November 8, 1961 in Bayshore, NY, Howard was the son of the late Paul Vogel, Sr. and Margaret (Swaine) Vogel. Howard was a true outdoorsman, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening and loved being outdoors with nature. Besides his father, Howard was predeceased by his wife Mary Ellen. He is survived by his mother: Margaret Vogel of South Kortright; children: Jessica Hitz of Walton, Kellianne Hitz of Binghamton, Kristian Fitzpatrick of Centereach, NY, and Michael Howard Vogel of Walton; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; siblings: Paul (Barbara) Vogel of Walton; Ken (Cheryl) Vogel of Southport, NC, Greg Vogel of Greenville, NY, Donna (James) Clark of South Kortright, and Cheryl (Richard) Fiorucci of Bradenton, FL; along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.
