Jana S. Bresee

Jana S. Bresee, 79, of Delhi, passed away early Sunday morning, December 8, 2024 at Albany Medical Center.

Born on January 11, 1945 in Stamford, Jana was the daughter of the late Earl and Virginia (Campagna) Briggs.

Jana was married to Roger J. Bresee, he passed away in 2006.

She enjoyed antiques, quilting and spending time with her husband. Jana was a gifted baker and was well known for creating many special wedding cakes over the years.

Besides her parents and her husband, Jana was predeceased by her siblings: William Briggs and Pricilla McGrath; and her daughter in law: Karen Bresee.

She is survived by her sons: Roger Bresee of Hobart and Christopher Bresee of Lillington, NC; sister: Barb Stuckey of Tampa Bay, FL; grandchildren: Jacob Bresee of Hobart, Makalya Bresee of Savannah, GA, and Kassondra Pierce of Walton; great-grandchildren: Alex, Paislee and Cecilia; daughter in law: Eva Bresee of Delhi; along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.

At Jana’s request there will be no calling hours of funeral service. A celebration of life is being planned and will be announced at a later date.
