Joan K. Stone

Joan Katherine Stone, 93, of Delhi, NY., passed away on September 1, 2025, at her home surrounded by her family.

Born on July 8, 1932, in Brooklyn, NY, Joan was the daughter of the late Katherine and Thomas McCormack. Later on, Joan moved to Long Island in Bayshore and then spent the last years of her life in Delhi, NY.

Joan is survived by her son: Thomas and wife Lori Stone; her daughter: Kathrine Olbrich and husband Charlie: her grandchildren: James (Malissa) Astuto, Linda Astuto and partner Jimi Harrington, Antoinette Astuto and Michelle (Ross) Hellinger; great grandchildren: Abigail, Averie, Gianna and Ryan.

Besides her parents, Joan was predeceased by her brother Thomas and sister-in-law, Jean McCormack.

In accordance with Joan’s wishes there will be no services. A celebration of life will be held for close family and friends at a future date.
