John Prindle

John E. Prindle, 58, of Delhi passed away suddenly on Tuesday, August 16, 2016 in New York City. Born on November 24, 1957 in Brooklyn, He was the son of the late Robert and Dorothy (Carter) Prindle. John was a 20-year veteran of the New York City Police Department, retiring in 2001. Following his retirement, John moved to Delhi where he continued to work in the private security field. He enjoyed cheering on the New York Rangers and the companionship of his dogs, chocolate labs, Guinness and Lily and his puggle, Nala. Above all else, John loved his family, he was a devoted husband and proud father. He is survived by his wife: Liz Prindle of Delhi; Daughters: Jessica (Olin) Grant of San Diego, CA and Jacqueline (Anthony) Visconti of Delhi; a brother: Robert (Doreen) Prindle of Staten Island, NY; sisters: Dorothy Prindle of Glen Rock, NJ and Barbara Rogers of Brooklyn; several nieces, nephews and cousins. A memorial service will be held at 11:30am on Saturday, August 20, 2016 at the MacArthur Funeral Home, 131 Main Street, Delhi with the Rev. RL Donahue officiating.
