Kathaleen Losurdo

Kathaleen Losurdo, 84, of Hamden, NY, passed away on Thursday evening, April 9, 2026, at Bassett Medical Center, Cooperstown following a long illness.

Born on August 28, 1941 in Bay Shore, NY, Kathaleen was the daughter of the late Laurence and Mary (Lynch) Kraemer.

She was married to her beloved husband Nicolas J. Losurdo.

Kathaleen worked for several businesses over the years retiring from MITQUE in Hauppauge, NY, following her retirement, Kathaleen and Nicolas moved to Hamden, NY in 1997.

She enjoyed playing the organ, singing, doing puzzles, and going to play bingo. Kathaleen was a proud member of the Sweet Adelines International. She also enjoyed spending time with her dog, Max.

Kathaleen was predeceased by her son: Vito Losurdo in 2009.

She is survived by her husband: Nicolas J. Losurdo of Hamden; children: Donna Santiago, Nicolas V. Losurdo and Veronica Feltner; grandchildren: Zachariah, Tony, Justin and Emma; brother: James (Clair) Kraemer; along with several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Private graveside services were held at Hamden Cemetery, Hamden, NY.
