Keith A. Wartenberg

Keith A. Wartenberg, age 71, of Delhi, NY, formerly of Oradell, NJ, passed away on September 24, 2025, at Delhi Rehabilitation and Nursing Home in Delhi after a long illness.

A graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University, he worked as Assistant Vice President, Treasurer for Oritani Savings and Loan Association in Ridgefield, NJ. Having spent many childhood visits in Bovina, NY, he chose to make Delhi his home upon retirement.

In Delhi, Keith was an avid book reader and passionate book collector. He also enjoyed coin collecting, photography and bird watching. A talented woodworker, he crafted many pieces of furniture for his home, and he took great pride in tending to his extensive garden over the years.

Born in Okinawa, Japan, while his father was stationed there, he was the son of the late Barry and Geraldine (Kubat) Wartenberg. Keith was preceded in death by sister Kim Ledgerwood and brother Jeff Wartenberg. He is survived by his brother Gary Wartenberg of Montville, NJ; nephews Eric and Thomas Ledgerwood, Alex, Curtis, Jeremy, and Kyle Wartenberg; and niece Alanna Wartenberg.

Keith lived a quiet and peaceful life surrounded by the things he loved.
