Kenneth Stone, Sr.

Kenneth L. Stone, Sr., 77, of Davenport, passed away at his home on Monday, June 24, 2019 surrounded by his family. Born on January 31, 1942 in Roxbury, Kenneth was the son of the late Everett and Addie (Boughton) Stone. He worked for several years at Mallinckrodt in Hobart. Ken was described as having a great work ethic and never had a problem with getting a hard job done. Kenneth enjoyed trips to Turning Stone Casino, playing cards with his family and friends and loved spending time with his K-9 companion Puggy. Above all else his greatest pride was his family. Besides his parents, Ken was predeceased by his grandson: Casey Gaska. He is survived by his wife: Joyce (Burnside) Stone; his children: Brenda (Tim) Hansen, Susan (Joseph) Boyle, Kenneth “Pike” (Fran) Stone, Jr., and Teresa (Ken Lee) Stone; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; a brother: Richard Stone; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends and relatives are invited to call on the family from 5-7PM on Thursday, June 27, 2018 at the MacArthur Funeral Home, 15 Buntline Drive, Stamford.
