Larry Vamosy

GEORGIA — Larry (Luke) A. Vamosy, 66, formerly of Stamford, passed away in Georgia on Dec. 20, 2012. He was born June 11, 1946, the son of Carl Vamosy and Virginia Wayman. An avid NASCAR and Yankees fan, he loved to play his guitar whenever he got a chance. He is survived by his girlfriend, Linda Radcliffe; a son, Tony and Joanne Vamosy; granddaughter, Alyssa Vamosy; and a sister, Jackie Wayman. A memorial service will be at noon Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013, in the MacArthur Funeral Home, Hobart, with Pastor Carol Wilson officiating.
