Leila Bassani

Leila M. Bassani DAVENPORT — Leila M. Bassani, 86 of Davenport, New York, passed away Dec. 23, 2012, at Teresian House in Albany, N.Y. She was born Oct. 10, 1926, in the town of Milford, N.Y., the daughter of William and Fannie (O'Dell) Davis. She married Leno Bassani; he predeceased her September 1988. A lifelong area resident, she was an X-ray technician at Stamford Hospital in Stamford N.Y. She is survived by her children: James and Marilyn Bassani of Schenectady, N.Y., Carol J. Gallo of Stamford, N.Y., and John and Susan Bassani of West Sand Lake, N.Y.; and two brothers and a sister. Graveside Services will take place Friday, Dec. 28, 2012, at 11 a.m. in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Stamford, N.Y., with Rev. Michael Cambi officiating.
