Linda Miller Davidson, 83 a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend passed away July 9, 2026, surrounded by her family.
She was born January 25, 1943, in Walton NY to Floyd and Nella (Coan) Miller. Her family later moved to Bloomville NY where she was raised and attended South Kortright Central School. She was a nurse’s aide which showed her love and compassion for helping people. In 1963 she married the love of her life, Carl Davidson, in Delhi. They celebrated a blessed union of 59 years together until his passing in 2022. Together they built a beautiful home, where they happily raised their three children. Linda was a loving stay at home mom until she started working at the Delhi Specialty Shop, where she loved interacting with the customers and working with her co-workers/boss which all became great friends. Later she started a framing business with her husband Carl called the Country Gallery and Workshop. Linda took exceptional pride in making every framing project perfect for her customers.
She was known for her beautiful heart and her love for her family and friends. Linda was always there for her family and would drop everything if they needed her. Her good humor and generous spirit touched everyone she met. She loved spending and making holidays, especially Christmas, special for her family. She loved getting together with her friends, they would go out for breakfast at McDonalds every week, go to lunch, play cards, or just catch up any way they could. She really enjoyed watching and supporting her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren’s sporting/school program events. Linda and Carl looked forward to traveling to new places across the country and the world. She treasured spending time with her sister and lifelong best friend, Marilyn.
She lived a blessed and happy life. The loss of her presence will be missed by many, and her family asks she be remembered for the joy she brought to others in life.
Linda is survived by her three children: John Davidson, Carla (Richard) Gantner, and Brian (Lisa) Davidson; grandchildren: Amber (Mackenzie) Kilkeary, Caitlyn (Dan) Rovelli, Chelsea (Leonard) Lilley, Jeremy Davidson, Jordyn (Andre) Onwudinjo, Nicole (Jon Burstyn) Davidson, and Ryan (Lia) Davidson; great-grandchildren: Aisla and Shay Kilkeary, Aries Onwudinjo, Danny, Christopher and Leo Rovelli. Her family extends beyond those related by blood to include her five foster great-grandchildren included in the Kilkeary and Lilley families. sister: Marilyn Olsen; sister: Melanie Snyder; brother: Floyd Miller Jr.; Along with many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her loving husband: Carl; her parents: Floyd and Nella Miller; brother: Chuck “Charles” Miller; sisters: Jackie LaRocque, Judy Hughes, and Kathleen Rowles; and brother-in-law: Gene Olsen.
The immediate family will hold a small graveside service which will honor Linda’s wishes.
Please join the family for a Celebration of Linda’s Life on Sunday July 19, 2026, from 1pm to 4pm at the Delhi Fire Department Hall in honor the beautiful life she lived.
Her memory will live on through her family and loved ones whose lives were enriched by her unwavering love and support.
