Linda F. Soule, 83, of Bloomville, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 13th at A.O. Fox Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.
Born on August 21, 1942, Linda was the daughter of the late Richard and Frances (Martin) Kenyon. Linda was a proud graduate of South Kortright Central School and made Bloomville her lifelong home.
Linda was known for her love of cooking and her deep devotion to her family. She was a dedicated wife, a loving mother, and a proud grandmother and great-grandmother. She especially enjoyed traveling with her husband, Larry, creating cherished memories together over the years. Linda was devoted member of Bloomville United Methodist Church, where she had served as superintendent of Sunday school for many years. She also had a love for Halloween; Linda enjoyed the costumes and watching the kids have fun trick or treating.
After a long career starting at the Delaware County Clerk’s office in 1979, she went on to retire in 1995 as the Court Clerk for the NYS Supreme Court in Delhi, following her retirement Linda retired focused on what she loved most — spending time with and caring for her grandchildren.
Besides her parents, Linda was predeceased by her beloved husband of 57 years: Larry Soule; her brothers: James Kenyon and Richard Kenyon; and her brothers-in-law: Dale Goodrich, Hilson Soule and Frank Holdridge.
She is survived by her three children: Kara (Walter “JR”) Peck, Larry “Bucky” (Betty) Soule, and Jon (Beverly) Soule, all of Bloomville; nine grandchildren: Rebekah, Rachel, Courtney (Nathan), Matthew, Kyle, Joshua, Lydia, Christina and Kali; great-grandsons Dawson and Wyatt; sister Margaret (Kenyon) Goodrich; sisters-in-law Margaret Kenyon and Bonnie Holdridge; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Linda will be remembered for her warmth, her kindness, and the love she poured into her family and community.
Calling hours will be held from 4-7 PM on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at MacArthur Funeral Home, 15 Buntline Drive, Stamford, NY. A funeral service will be held at 11AM on Thursday at the Bloomville United Methodist Church, 35 Church Street, Bloomville, followed by burial at Riverside Cemetery in Bloomville. A reception at the Bloomville Fire Hall will follow.
Linda's family would like to express their sincere thanks to the staff at both, The Heritage at the Plains and AO Fox Memorial Hospital for the exceptional care she received over the last few months.
