Lois A. Antes

Lois Antes, 92, of Delhi passed away at home on Thursday morning, October 29, 2026, surrounded by family.

Born September 1934 in Ramsey NJ, daughter of Alene & Robert. Lois was married to John in January 1956 in Ramsey NJ and later moved to Delhi in the 1960’s to raise a family.

Lois was a retired nurse, she worked for many years at O’Connor Hospital in Delhi, NY.

She loved teaching baton twirling, was an active member of the Red Hatters, and enjoyed spending time knitting items for the Humane Society.

Survived by daughter Joann Antes of Delhi, grandchildren Jessica (Christopher) Cass of Pennsylvania, Miranda (Dani) Antes of Massachusetts, and great-grandchild Finley of Pennsylvania.

The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to the nurses of Helios, the staff at A.O. Fox Hospital and Tianna Blake.

At Lois’s request there will be no calling hours or funeral services.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Heart of the Catskills Humane Society or Delhi EMS.
