Louise Messina

Louise Colaluca Messina, born December 27, 1932 in Sette Fratti, Providence of Frosinone, Italy, has passed away into the arms of the Good Lord this day of November 12, 2018. Born to Donata Colarossi Colaluca Cantalupo and Alfred Colaluca, who predecease her. Wife of Philip D. Messina, Sr., whom she married on October 5th, 1952 in Port Chester, NY. They just celebrated 66 wonderful years together. She moved to Bloomville, NY in 1990 where she resided. Louise has 4 children: Phyllis, Lucille, Donna Radice (Bob) and Philip, Jr (Leslie). She has 8 Grandchildren: Jennifer Savo, Frances Cuartas, Joseph Messina, Lucia Plummer, Danielle Krisko, Stacey Canning, Jeanine Radice, and Michael Messina. She has 8 Great Grandchildren: Isabella Cuartas, Cristian Cuartas, Lycia Torres, Antonio Plummer, Braeden Messina, Madison Messina, Cecilia Krisko and Ethan Radice. She is also survived by her brothers, Salvatore Colaluca, Anthony Colaluca and her sister Emily Giorgi and many Nieces and Nephews. Mom was well known for her Love of her Family which showed in the way she treated us and in her fantastic cooking. She worked for 19 years in United Hospital as a Nursing Assistant in Port Chester, NY. She will be greatly missed by us all! Friends and relatives are invited to call on the family from 11AM-1PM on Saturday, November 17, 2018 at the MacArthur Funeral Home, 15 Buntline Drive, Stamford, where a prayer service will follow at 1PM with the Rev. Michael Cambi. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Bloomville. In lieu of flowers, please send a donation to a charity of your choice in her name.
