Marie Elaine Herrmann

Marie Elaine Herrmann was born in Manhattan on November 18, 1946, the daughter of Noe Caccippoli and Hellen Zarek. Marie grew up on Long Island with her two brothers. She was a very happy child and at the age of 20 she married Michael Hermann on November 24, 1964, Michael and Marie were divorced on February 15, 1972, however the couple had three beautiful children.

On Monday, July 3, 2023 at 7:30pm, Marie was called to rest. She leaves behind her brother: Tommy; her lifelong partner: William “Poppa Butch”; two daughters: Anna Marie and Debbie; her son: Bobby; four granddaughters: Leana Marie, Nicole, Kelly Rose and Amanda; five great-grandchildren: Destiny, Tristan, Abel, Gianna and Mason; along with a whole host of family and friends.

Marie was loved by everyone, she enjoyed barbeques with friends and family, but her greatest pass was spending time with her grandchildren, often relaxing and watching movies on Netflix; Unfortunately, she was not able to watch the 4th of July fireworks shows, as it was her favorite holiday. Rest assured Marie will be missed and never forgotten.

Graveside services and a celebration of Marie’s life will be held at 1PM on Monday, July 10, 2023 at the Sacred Heart Cemetery, 3 Mountain Road., Stamford, NY.
