Marie "Bonnie" McKenzie

Marie Bryce “Bonnie” McKenzie, 86, of Stamford, passed away on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at AO Fox Memorial Hospital, Oneonta, NY

Born on May 6, 1940, in Morristown, NJ, Bonnie was the daughter of the late Douglas and Marie McKenzie.

She was a 1959 graduate of Stamford Central School.

Bonnie was a secretary for Engelke Tires in Stamford for over 37 years, retiring in 2009.

She was a member of the Stamford First Presbyterian Church. Bonnie also was a member of the Stamford Central School Alumni Committee and of the Jefferson Senior Citizens group.

Bonnie is survived by her brother: Charles “Lad” (Linda) McKenzie of Stamford; nephews: Donald McKenzie and Douglas (Celia) McKenzie both of Florida; along with great-nieces and nephews: Hollyn, Charlie, Eden and Anna McKenzie; and her god daughter: Amy Koch.

Visitation will be held from noon-1PM on Monday, September 28, 2026, at the MacArthur Funeral Home, 15 Buntline Drive, Stamford, NY, where a funeral service will follow at 1PM with the Rev. Dawn Richards. Burial will be in Stamford Cemetery, Stamford, NY.

In lieu of flowers contributions in memory of Bonnie can be made to the Stamford First Presbyterian Church, Stamford, NY.
