Marjorie R. Moore

Marjorie R. Moore, 93, of Davenport Center, passed away on January 8, 2024 at Chestnut Park Nursing Center, Oneonta.

Born on December 5, 1930 in Stamford, she was the daughter of the late Steven and Blanch (Marschilok) Doroski.

She was a homemaker and helped with the operation of the family dairy in Davenport for years. Marjorie was a green thumb and loved flowers, working with several greenhouses over the years. Her greatest passion was her family, she was a loving mother and devoted grandmother.

Besides her parents, Marjorie was predeceased by her husband Mavin Moore in 1982.

She is survived by her sons: Richard Moore of Davenport and Jeff (Stacey) Moore of York PA; four grandchildren: Robert Moore, Jeff Moore, Kaline Beeles and Matthew Moore; along with several great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 11AM on Wednesday, May 29, 2024 at the Davenport Cemetery.
