Mark R. Doty

Mark Doty passed away at the age of 75 after a brief illness in Unadilla, New York. He leaves behind a legacy of curiosity, generosity and pride in his family’s roots.

Mark was a graduate of Bridgeton High School in Bridgeton, New Jersey, class of 1968. He is survived by his sister, Suzanne Erianne, and his brothers, Raymond Chew, and Leonard Springfield, as well as his cousins, nieces and nephews who he was very proud of.

Mark had a deep interest in family history and took pride in preserving and sharing those stories so future generations would understand where they came from. Handy and resourceful, he always had a project underway and found purpose in working with his hands.

He was generous with his time and often gave opportunities to those in need, believing in offering others a chance.

He will be remembered for the history he preserved, the projects he built, and the quiet generosity he extended to others.
