Mary "Sue" Hill

Mary Evelyn “Sue” Hill, 92, of Michigan, formerly of Delhi, NY and Florida, passed away Saturday, August 5, 2023.

Born January 12, 1931, in Wilkes -Barre, PA, she was the daughter of Joesph and Julia (Monka) Petzarek.

Mary retired from Chase Manhattan Bank and then relocated from Brooklyn to Delhi, NY.

She married the love of her life Robert T. Hill on November 29th,1946.

Mary Loved the lord she was a loyal member of Immanual Lutheran Church in Delhi, NY.

Over the years Mary got much enjoyment out of quilting, sewing, crafts, reading and listening to Willie Nelson. She knew all his songs and didn’t hesitate to hum or sing along.

Besides her parents, Mary was predeceased by a daughter: Patricia McEntee; son: Thomas Hill; and grandson Ryan McEntee.

Mary is survived by three children Kathryn (Hill) Kehlmeier, Helen Hill and Angelo Cooke; nine grandchildren: Adam Faulkner, Nikki Franklin, Grant Kidwell, Sean McEntee, Timothy Hill, Erin Hill, Victoria Racano, Kyle Cooke and Jarrod Cooke; as well as 14 great grandchildren.

A graveside service was held at 11:00am on Monday, October 2, 2023, at the Woodland Cemetery Delhi, NY
