Mary Vogel

DELHI _ Mary Ellen Vogel, 57, of Delhi, passed away on Sunday, May 1, 2011, at Bassett Healthcare, Cooperstown. She was born Dec. 10, 1953, in New York City, the daughter of Walter and Florence (Marks) Fitzpatrick. She married Howard Vogel in 1991, in Laurens. Mary Ellen was an LPN, she was most recently employed in Salem, Va. She is survived by her husband, Howard Vogel, Delhi; two daughters, KelliAnne Stevenson, and Jessica (Eugene) VanAltyne; and son, Kristan Fitzpatrick; nine grandchildren including, Matthew Stevenson, Michael Vogel, Daniel and Savannah Quackenbush, and Brianna, Carinn and Jamie Fitzpatrick. She also leaves five brothers, Tim (Patty) Fitzpatrick, Walter (Maria) Fitzpatrick, Robert (Carmela) Fitzpatrick, Keith Fitzpatrick and James Fitzpatrick; and many nieces and nephews. Calling hours will take place from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, May 5, 2011, at the MacArthur Funeral Home, Delhi. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, May 6, 2011, with the Rev. Edward J. Golding, as celebrant. Burial will take place at the convenience of the family. Contributions in her memory may be made to Catskill Area Hospice. Arrangements are with the MacArthur Funeral Home, Delhi.
