Maurice L. Roe, Jr.

Maurice L. Roe, Jr., of Davenport, passed away on Thursday, July 13, 2023 at Robinson Terrace Nursing Home in Stamford.

Born on March 1, 1947 in Cobleskill, Maurice was the son of the late Maurice and Josephine Roe, Sr.

Maurice proudly served in the US Army and then in the US Navy for over 20 years. Following his retirement from the Military, he worked for several years in security at West Point.

Maurice loved to travel and visit with people. He enjoyed the outdoors and being outside in nature.

He is survived by his companion: Barbara Schrag of Davenport along with her daughter Debra (Roger) Heim of Davenport, along with several cousins and friends.

At Maurice’s request there will be no calling hours or funeral service.
