Pamela K. Purdy

Pamela K. Purdy, 69, of Delhi, passed away on Monday, June 30, 2025, at Bassett Medical Center in Cooperstown, NY.

Born on March 25, 1956, in Delhi, she was the daughter of the late Dale and Elinor (Storey) Mason.

She worked as a bookkeeper for the local Grand Union Grocery Store in Delhi and went on to work for Covidien in Hobart until her retirement.

Pamela was a selfless person, often reaching out to help anyone in need and would ask for nothing in return. She enjoyed the simple things of life, and her greatest joy was her family, which she always put first. She was a devoted wife and loving mother.

She is survived by her husband: Brian Purdy; son: Dustin Purdy and partner Andy Checo; a brother: Mike Mason and wife Anna; along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.

At Pamela’s request there will be no calling hours or funeral service, a private celebration of life will be held by the family. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your local animal shelter or to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (www.stjude.org)
