Patricia A. Larocque

Patricia A. LaRocque, 82, of Bloomville, passed away on Thursday, May 9, 2024 at Albany Medical Center.

Born on May 12, 1941 in Bloomville, Patricia was the daughter of the late Francis and Evelyn (Hitt) Quackenbush.

She was married to James J. “Jim” LaRocque Sr. on February 18, 1961, a union that lasted 47 years until his passing on Sept. 23, 2008

Patricia enjoyed playing bingo, trips to the casino and all kinds of games of chance. She also liked visiting with friends and family and never passed up a chance to get together with the people she loved.

She is survived by her children: Tammy (Ernie) Sweeney of Davenport, Sindy (Steve) Gullestead of Stamford, and James “Jimmy” LaRocque, Jr. of Clarksville, Tenn; nine grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; sisters: Vickie Phelps and Penny Scofield both of Bloomville; along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A graveside service will be held at 11AM on Saturday, June 8, 2024 at Riverside Cemetery in Bloomville.
