Patricia Terry

ORE CITY, Texas _ Patricia A. Terry (nee Tweedie), 69, after several years of battling cancer, died on Jan. 6, 2011, at her home in Ore City, Texas. Her husband, Osal Terry of 20 years was with her. Patricia, daughter of the late Clair and Frances Tweedie, grew up on Spring Valley Road in Delhi. She graduated from Delaware Academy in 1959. In 1969, she moved with her family to Sandpoint, Idaho, and in 1984, she moved to Phoenix, Ariz. For many years, Patricia enjoyed frequent relocations with her husband who was employed in the natural gas pipe line construction business. These travels took them to Oregon, Florida, Massachusetts, New York, New Mexico and many others, but they always returned home to Ore City in east Texas. She is survived by her husband, Osal; sons, Scott Schoeffel of Priest River, Idaho, and Dean Schoeffel of Madisonville, Texas; brother, Robert Tweedie and wife Mary Kay of Westampton, N.J.; special cousins, Linda Shepard of DeLancey and Gertrude Mostert of Delhi; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held in Woodland Cemetery in Delhi at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 30, 2011. Local arrangements are by the MacArthur Funeral Home of Delhi.
