Paul Lynck

Paul Lynck 73, passed away on Tuesday May 29, 2018 at the Veteran Hospital in Batavia , NY. He was the son of the late Mabel and George Lynck. After he graduated from Delaware Academy he enlisted in the United States Airforce. He served in the Airforce as a weapons mechanic during the Vietnam War. When the war ended and his duty to the Airforce was completed he moved back to Delhi and began his career at SUNY Delhi. He worked there for his entire career spanning 45 years. During his tenure he was given the President’s award in 1995 for his excellent work. Paul’s hobbies were golfing, hunting, fishing and painting to name a few. He was a permeant fixture at the Delhi Golf course playing golf with his friends and family. One of his greatest moments was winning his father’s Memorial tournament with his son Daniel Lynck. A special thank you to the people at the Veterans Hospice in Batavia NY for their loving care and support during his final days.. Paul is survived by his wife Sharon Lynck of 45 years, son, Daniel (Mollene) Lynck , brothers Roger Lynck and Jim Lynck, granddaughter: Rachel Lynck. Paul was a loving father, husband, grandfather, and friend to everyone. He will be missed by many but remember no one leaves you when they live in your hearts and minds. Friends and relatives are invited to call on the family from 3-5PM on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at the MacArthur Funeral Home, 134 Main St., Delhi, where a funeral service will follow at 5PM.
