Raymond Laux

Stamford Raymond W. Laux, 70 of Stamford, New York, passed away Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at Bassett Healthcare, Cooperstown, NY. He was born January 24, 1943 in Stamford, NY the son of Fred and Inga (Giesmann) Laux. A lifelong area resident Ray retired as an equipment operator at DEC Stamford, NY. He is survived by his brother Harry of Cobleskill, NY; a son Charles Laux of Emmaus, PA; and three grandchildren, Johnathan Laux, Johanna Laux and Wyatt Laux. A Memorial Service will take place on Monday, November 11, 2013 at 2:00pm in the MacArthur Funeral Home, Hobart, NY with Rev. Elliott Oakes officiating. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, November 10, 2013 from 4-8pm at the funeral home. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
