Robert E. Miner

Robert E. Miner, 81, of Warnerville, passed away on Tuesday, January 14, 2025 at his home following a long battle with end stage kidney disease.

Born on May 29, 1943, in Oneonta, Robert was the son of the late Robert A. and Veda M. (Jersey) Miner.

He worked for over 30 years with the IBW Local 236, working at Schenectady Hardware and Electrical. Robert also worked for several years at Cobleskill Regional Hospital.

In his earlier years Bob enjoyed snowmobiling and loved being outdoors, however his greatest passion was his family, he was a proud father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He really enjoyed being a grandfather and great-grandfather and always was there to cheer on his grandchildren from the sidelines at their many sporting events.

Besides his parents, Robert was predeceased by his wife Carol Miner who passed away in 1997.

Bob is survived by his companion: Anna L. Borst of Warnerville; two sons: Jeff (Heidi) Miner of Warnerville and Joe (Katie) of Richmondville; grandchildren: Jonathan, Zachary (Juliet), Ethan (Jessica) and Corey (Vienna) Miner, and Alyvia Zipperle; along with great-grandchildren: Scarlett, Timber, River, Grey and Denali.

Private burial will be held in Pine Grove Cemetery, Meridale, NY in the spring.
