Robert J. Urban

Robert J. Urban, 67, of Delhi, NY, passed away at his home on May 9, 2023.

He was born on February 3, 1956 in Queens, NY, the son of the late Stanley and Therese Urban.

Robert served in the US Air Force from 1975 until his honorable discharge at the rank of Sgt. in 1980.

He worked for Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals in Hobart, NY for many years.

Robert was a talented musician, he was a classically trained pianist and enjoyed playing keyboard in several rock bands.

He is survived by two sisters: Michele (Sal) Motisi of Farmingdale, NY and Janine Meuhleisen of Rochester, NY; niece: Niki Mansen; and nephews: Mitchell Meuhleisen, Joseph Lawlor and Paul Motisi.

A graveside service with military honors will be held at 1PM on Monday, June 12, 2023, at Long Island National Cemetery, Wellwood Ave., Farmingdale. Followed by a celebration of life at his sister’s home from 2-3PM at 36 Woodland Ave., Farmingdale, NY.
